Vurlo is a beta product and a work in progress.
We store the links and content you save so we can provide the service and resurface them via push notification on your phone. You retain ownership of the notes and intent you add to your saves.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. We only share information with third-party service providers (Google Firebase, Expo, and Google FCM) when necessary to operate and deliver the service.
Because Vurlo is currently in beta, the service may change, contain bugs, experience downtime, or lose data. Use it at your own risk.
These terms apply to Vurlo and all its surfaces — the Android app, website (vurlo.app), and Chrome extension — operated from the Netherlands. By using Vurlo, you agree to these terms.
Vurlo is explicitly a beta, work-in-progress product. The "🌱 work in progress" notice displayed throughout the service is a material disclosure. By using Vurlo, you acknowledge that:
You sign in using Google. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us at support@vurlo.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
Vurlo is a personal productivity tool for saving and resurfacing links. You agree not to use it for unlawful purposes, to save illegal content, or to attempt to circumvent any access controls or security measures.
You retain ownership of the notes and intent you add to your saves. The links themselves belong to their respective publishers. By using Vurlo, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Vurlo delivers push notifications to your Android device as part of its core function. By using the service, you consent to receiving these. You can disable them in your device settings, though this disables the resurfacing feature.
To the full extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall Vurlo be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, loss of profits, goodwill, use, or other intangible losses — even if Vurlo has been advised of the possibility of such damages — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service.
Because Vurlo is currently in beta and explicitly provided as a work in progress, the service may change, contain bugs, experience downtime, or lose data. By accepting beta access and ticking the consent checkbox, you expressly acknowledge this and agree to use the service at your own risk.
The Vurlo name, logo, and "Just Vurlo it" are proprietary to Vurlo. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to Dutch courts. EU users may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or a notice within the service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Vurlo is operated from the Netherlands and complies with GDPR. The data controller is Vurlo (support@vurlo.app). All data is stored within the European Economic Area (EEA).
We do not collect analytics, track behaviour, or use cookies beyond those required for Firebase authentication.
We use your data only to provide the Vurlo service — to authenticate you, store your bookmarks, and send push notifications at your chosen time. Nothing else.
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting), Expo (push notification relay), and Google FCM (notification delivery) to operate Vurlo. We share only the minimum data necessary with each. We do not sell your data to anyone.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data at any time. Email support@vurlo.app — we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
